FIELD: manufacture of fittings; protective devices for protection of mains and reservoirs of pneumatic and hydraulic systems against excessive pressure or for execution of operate commands, disconnection of emergency buoys for example. SUBSTANCE: proposed diaphragm-type protective unit has body with inlet and outlet chambers separated by bursting diaphragm. Actuating mechanism is made in form of pyro chamber with spring- loaded striker and control mechanism is made in form of flapping diaphragm and cotter pin with retainer and hole engageable with striker of actuating mechanism. Convex surface of flapping diaphragm is directed towards inlet chamber and concave surface is directed towards cotter pin. EFFECT: simplified construction; reduced overall dimensions and mass; enhanced reliability and shock resistance. 1 dwg
