STOP-START EXPLOSIVE VALVE Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: fittings engineering. SUBSTANCE: explosive valve is designed to protect industrial and agricultural objects in emergency situations. Stop-start explosive valve has body with inlet and outlet channels, chamber with explosive charge coupling inlet and outlet channels during explosive charge operation, breaking cut-off member with weakening circular groove positioned between its two parts of identical external diameters. One part of cut-off member is made as bushing which is fixed relative to body. The other part of cut-off member is manufactured in form of piston with hollow tailpiece. Groove surrounding cavity is sealed and coupled with explosive charge chamber by means of channel which is positioned at angle to body axis. Weakening groove has cross-sectional area shaped as rectangular trapezium. Smaller base of trapezium is formed by internal diameter of groove. EFFECT: enhance reliability of operation. 3 cl, 2 dwg
