SUBSTANCE: method involves providing advancement of erosion- preventive plowing apparatus for simultaneous creation of subsurface moisture accumulating cavities and formation of waterproof surface of sloped field by using flat tillage of transverse windrows, ridges and U-shaped cavities, whose walls are covered with mulching layer, with stubble on field surface being kept. Apparatus has rippers, which are automatically adjusted for various plow depth values, windrow formers, chisels, flat hoes and roll with bars. Chisels, windrow former and flat hoe are mounted on ripper. Chisel and windrow former base, which are arranged below chisel, are rigidly fixed on front part, and flat hoes are fixed on sides so that their wings are spaced from chisel point by predetermined distance. This leads to reduced draft, in particular, during forming of moisture accumulating cavity at depth of h₃..
