FIELD: postharvest treatment of grain before laying for storage. SUBSTANCE: method involves cleaning grain from contaminant; providing aerosol state of propionic acid comprising chitosan additive; subjecting grain to aerosol flow; using chitosan additive for propionic acid, said additive being preparation produced by sequential extracting of Mortierella globalpina micromycet biomass with the use of non-polar extractant in above-critical state, water, alkaline, water, acid, water, alkaline, and water, with following joining of first extract with solid residue. EFFECT: increased efficiency and reliable storage of grain.
