SUBSTANCE: method involves cleaning grain from contaminants; converting propionic acid including chitosan additive to aerosol state; providing contacting of grain with aerosol flow; using specific preparation as source of chitosan for adding to propionic acid, said preparation being produced by sequential extracting of Mortierella sepedonioides micromycet biomass with the use of non-polar extractant in above-critical state, water, alkaline, water, acid, water, alkaline, and water, followed by joining of first extract with solid residue.
