FIELD: petrochemical industry. SUBSTANCE: the given invention is dealt with production of a synthesis - gas by the vapor reforming of hydrocarbon raw material under the contact with the catalyzed equipment. Method of production of a gas dressed with hydrogen and carbon monoxide in the process of the catalytic reforming of the hydrocarbon containing raw material, includes the operations: ) passing of the process gas containing the hydrocarbon raw material through a tubular reactor with the vapor reforming catalyst heated up by a fuel burning. At that the catalyst of the vapor reforming is put on a metal sheet having the same form as a wall of the reactor, and being in direct the heat-conducting connection with an inner wall of a pipe of the tubular reactor. The method additionally provides for a preliminary operation of the hydrocarbon raw material passing through the first reactor with the vapor reforming catalyst . The vapor reforming catalyst in the reactor operation is used in combination with granules of the reforming catalyst. The reforming catalyst contains nickel and-or noble metals.
