FIELD: polymer materials. SUBSTANCE: invention concerns preparation of fine ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer powders widely used in industry for protecting metallic objects against corrosion as components of various glues, primary coats, and primary underlayers when applying polyolefin protective coatings on metallic surfaces. Objective of invention is simpler and environmentally safe preparation of powdered polymer based on modified ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer, which would allow increasing adhesion of corresponding coatings to metal and improving performance characteristics and preserving them during long-time period. Objective is achieved by developing and using a method for preparing powdered polymer material through mechanical grinding of modified ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer. Ground adhesion composition contains ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer with 10.0 to 35.0% vinyl acetate groups, which is modified by blocking with ε-caprolactam, polyisocyanate, stabilizer, and filler.
