FIELD: biotechnology, microbiology, biochemistry. SUBSTANCE: strain Bacillus lichemiformis BST-1 is isolated from Bacillus licheniformis 749/c by step-by-step selection with required indices. Method for preparing penicillinase involves preparing cultural fluid, microfiltration of cultural fluid through filter with pores size 0.2 mcm, ultrafiltration of the prepared filtrate through filter with retaining capacity that is characterized by nominal cutting off selectivity of substances with molecular mass 10 kDa. At final stage of ultrafiltration process the formed concentrate is washed out with phosphate buffer with pH 6.8-7.5. Washed out concentrate is sterilized by sterilizing filtration method and subjected for lyophilic drying. Invention provides the stable yield of enzyme in stage of its biosynthesis and provides the required purity level of the preparation. Enzyme penicillinase can be used in medicine for analytic aims, for assay of active component in preparations of β- lactam antibiotics. EFFECT: improved and simplified preparing method. 4 cl, 2 ex
