FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: three-phase three-conductor coil that can be used in magnetic starters, contactors, operating mechanisms of circuit breakers and switches, and in miscellaneous low-power electromagnetic devices that function to convert three-phase to single-phase power is wound of flat bundled conductor assembled of three conducting strips with insulating gaskets in-between which replaces prior-art small-diameter conductor. Two conducting strips are connected to three-phase power supply through their starting leads and third one, through its finishing lead. Coil generates essential amount of reactive power and can operate in antiresonance mode. This occurs when its capacitive and inductive reactances are equal. EFFECT: enhanced mechanical strength and reduced labor consumption for coil manufacture. 1 cl, 5 dwg
