FIELD: electrical engineering, three-phase transformers and processes for making them.
SUBSTANCE: three-phase transformer includes magnetic circuit and three winding units. Magnetic circuit includes two mutually spaced Parallel plate like members and three mutually spaced parallel column like elemental circuits. Each column like elemental circuit caries respective one of three winding units and it is designed for one of three phases. Column like elemental circuits are practically normal relative to plate like members and they are embraced between said plate like members for forming spatial structure that is symmetrical relative to central axis of transformer. Plate like and column like elemental circuits of transformer are made in the form of toroids wound of amorphous strips that had been annealed in magnetic field at temperature no less than 550 C. Annealed toroids are fixed by impregnation.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency, improved operational reliability, lowered material consumption.
