FIELD: sanitary and hygienic facilities. SUBSTANCE: invention provides personal hygiene material comprising (i) body- facing layer with surface weight from about 10 to 100 g/sq.m, density from about 0.05 to about 0.5 g/cu. cm, and containing synthetic fibers and binding material and (ii) liquid-retention layer with surface weight from about 50 to about 250 g/sq.m, density from about 0.05 to about 0.5 g/cu.cm, and synthetic fibers, binding material, and natural fibers, where border between two adjacent fibrous layers is diffuse since fibers on or near the adjacent surfaces are essentially mixed. Material optionally includes liquid- distribution layer and a layer facing object by its gap. Other optional components are absorbents and smell-controlling components. Layers can have stamping for controlling level of liquid and with a view of aesthetic. Material has a clear difference between each layer on juncture and border, which may reduce degree of transfer of liquid between adjacent surfaces. EFFECT: enhanced hygienic possibilities of material. 23 cl, 2 dwg
