FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fuel delivery devices, namely, to fuel tanks, their design peculiarities and devices decreasing pollution of air. Membrane in form of open container is secured in housing. Said membrane has no bending rigidity being made to correspond to space of housing out of the line of fastening bead edge with housing cover and dividing the housing into fuel space sealed in operation and air space with possibility of passing a pipe, for instance, fuel intake, through membrane. Fuel and air spaces are of relatively changeable volume. Said membrane is made in form of open container featuring no bending rigidity and is hermetically fastened by edge of its bead with cover of housing. To transform standard fuel tank into membranous fuel tank, envelope of membrane material is inserted into standard tank, then envelope is inflated. Part of envelope pressed to ceiling is fastened to ceiling and then fuel is filled under envelope. EFFECT: prevention of fuel evaporation, simplified design and method of manufacture, possibility of transformation of standard tanks, prevention of pollution of ambient atmosphere. 3 cl, 1 dwg _
