FIELD: fuel tanks.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the design features of fuel tanks. The fuel tank is made in the form of a rectangular parallelepiped and is formed by the front, rear and side walls, cover and bottom. The front and rear walls of the fuel tank are mounted recessed inside between the side walls with the bottom and the lid, forming niches so that outlets are formed along the side walls, the bottom and the lid, extending beyond the dimension of the internal volume of the container containing the liquid. Inside the fuel tank is divided into parts by vertical transverse bulkheads with through overflow holes. In the niches to the front and rear walls of the fuel tank, orthogonally to the said walls, stiffeners are mounted connecting the lower and upper outlets. Stiffening plates are mounted on the surface of the fuel tank cap. A subframe is mounted to the bottom of the fuel tank. Tension-adjustable brace is mounted between the stiffening ribs. The fuel tank on the frame of the vehicle is mounted on vibration mounts with the possibility of providing elastic shock absorption.
EFFECT: increased reliability of the fuel tank and resistance to torsion loads.
