FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in brake systems of electric vehicles. Proposed brake drive contains housing 1 and eccentric shaft 4 arranged in housing and coupled through reduction gear 3 with electric motor 2. Spring 14 is arranged in sleeve 12 square to axis of eccentric shaft 4. Connecting rod 6 passing inside spring 14 couples eccentric shaft 4 with threaded bushing 8 through pin 7. End of spring 14 thrusts against bushing. One end of spring 14 thrust against flange 15 of threaded bushing 8 and by other end, against sleeve 12 installed in housing for rotation. Moreover, inside threaded bushing 8 rod 10 is installed coaxially with bushing. Said rod 10 is provided with threaded end. Pin is installed for turning of threaded bushing 8 relative to pin. Proposed drive can be provided with additional electric motor 17 and angular position pickup 21 of eccentric shaft 4. In this case sleeve 12 is provided with toothed rim 13 on its outer generatrix and is engaged with motor 17 through toothed connection. Driven can be made with ratchet mechanism coupled with eccentric shaft and engaged with sleeve 12 through bevel gear train.
