CENTRIFUGAL FRICTION CLUTCH Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

Abstract RU 2221939 C2

FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for connecting shafts in drives of power plants. Proposed centrifugal friction clutch contains driving clutch member with friction element in form of disk and alignment projection, driven clutch member with friction element in form disk and hole for alignment projection, flyweights hinge-connected with clutch members by tie-rods, bushing with flange located on driven clutch member, cup limiting axial travel of driven clutch member and provided with nut fixing bushing with flange. Novelty is that hole for alignment projection in driven clutch member is provided with spring acting onto alignment projection through metal ball. EFFECT: prevention of baking of friction elements, improved reliability, reduced time taken for disengagement. 1 dwg
