FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: there is proposed safety fuse for 42 V which thickness measured over side edge amounts to less than 4.0 mm. Base for installation of safety fuse has pair of guides with guiding groove running through each guide ensuring connection of 42 V safety fuse. Mentioned grooves prevent connection of 14 V safety fuse. Unit for protection of network includes above- mentioned safety fuse and base for its mounting and blocking of installation of second safety fuse for voltage under 42 V.
