FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: air-operated seeding unit has case with bottom, intake device, inlet window, nozzle for creating excessive pressure and dosing slot between cylindrical drum mounted in case on vertical drive shaft and guide mounted on case and extending in helical line from inlet window to intake device. Guide has variable angle of inclination with respect to case bottom. In feeding zone, said angle is smaller than seed angle of repose. In seeding zone, said angle is greater than seed angle of repose. Friction coefficient of drum against seeds is at least 0.65 and friction coefficient of guide against seeds is less than 0.30. EFFECT: increased efficiency and uniform distribution of seed flow. 3 dwg
