FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves applying two kinds of radiation supplied to four fields within a procedure. One procedure involves first applying remote sequentially scanning low intensity helium-neon laser radiation of 20 mW power within up to 2 min per one field of up to 100 cm area in interscapular, lumbosacral and popliteal areas. The extremely high frequency electromagnetic radiation of 10 mW/cm is applied in contact mode when alternating wavelengths of 5.6 and 7.1 mm every other day in interscapular and lumbosacral area. The other procedure involves exposing hand palms and plantar foot surfaces to low intensity helium-neon laser radiation and then applying the extremely high frequency electromagnetic radiation treatment to the same areas. Severe brain injuries being the case, additional treatment with both kinds of radiation is applied to the area of nose bridge. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment. 2 cl, 6 dwg, 3 tbl
