FIELD: port equipment; devices for sheltering ship's hatches. SUBSTANCE: proposed shelter is made in form of inverted-V awning consisting of elastic watertight cloth with hole for transfer unit made in it; it is located on bearing structure mounted above aperture in ship's deck. Said bearing structure is erected from vertical A-shaped trusses: end trusses, intermediate trusses and two central trusses mounted in horizontal guides. End trusses are immovably secured in horizontal guides and intermediate trusses and two central trusses are mounted for motion over horizontal guides. Each central truss is made in form of pair of A-shaped trusses covered with transparent elastic watertight cloth. Awning cloth of center section located between two central trusses in guides is connected with drum to be wound on it. Hole for transfer unit is made in center of said cloth.
