FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to vibration damping devices and it can be used at creating precision coordinate tables. According to invention proposed vibration isolator (shown in drawing) contains cylindrical housing 22 accommodating coaxially installed support rod 23 and ring diaphragm 24 forming pneumatic damping chamber 25 with walls of housing 22. Ring electromagnet 42 is installed coaxially with cylindrical housing 22 through ball bearing 32 on upper end face of cylindrical housing 22, electromagnet 42 being main unit of electrodynamic compensator of vibration isolator. Movable coil 44 is installed in clearance of magnetic circuit 43 of ring electromagnet 42. Magnetic circuit 43 and movable coil 44 are centered relative to support rod 23 by means of metal diaphragm 45. Housing of movable coil 44 is coupled with support rod 23 by friction clutch 46.
