FIELD: power engineering and thermal physics. SUBSTANCE: heat pipe that can be primarily manufactured as energy-intensive heat-transfer pipe heated by heat-carrying agent for use in radiating coolers of space power plants has pressurized casing with externally heated evaporation region, adiabatic region, and cooled condensing region with capillary structure disposed at inner surface of casing; capillary structure in evaporation region and in part of adiabatic region abutting against evaporation region is shaped structure with its inner surface made in the form of subsonic nozzle and in part of adiabatic region, in the form of subsonic diffuser. Proposed heat pipe provides for maximum admissible heat fluxes in evaporation region without heat recuperation along evaporation region in case the latter is heated by heat- carrying agent flowing outside of casing along evaporation region. EFFECT: maximized heat fluxes afforded by heat pipe in evaporation region. 1 cl, 1 dwg
