AID TO TAKE SAMPLES OF PULP FROM PIPE-LINE Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: control over technological processes. SUBSTANCE: aid to take samples of pulp from pipe-line has slit intake appliance, discharge tube and container for pulp samples. Slit intake appliance is positioned with clearance in front of section of pipe-line and is formed by walls diverging at acute angle away from section of pipe-line. From outside walls are limited by bottom curvilinear in vertical plane and lateral direction with formation of slit conduit. Conduit is open on side of section of pipe-line and its lower part is fitted with branch pipe connected to discharge tube in the form of flexible hose. Intake appliance is attached with its upper part to bracket oriented horizontally for its possible displacement in horizontal plane. Lower part of intake appliance is equipped with roller for possible movement along horizontal guide fixed under pipe-line. Brackets are linked to free ends of flexible element passing over two deviating blocks mounted on pipe-line and forming bight hanging down. EFFECT: possibility of taking uniform samples of pulp from entire section with little volume of sample, simplified design of aid that can be manufactured at any enterprise. 3 cl, 4 dwg
