FIELD: organic chemistry, cosmetology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to composition for oxidative coloring keratin fibers, in particular, human keratin fiver, for example, hair. Composition comprises in medium corresponding for coloring at least one oxidative dye, at least one amphiphilic cationic polymer comprising at least one saturated chain and association including the following components: (I) at least one oxyalkyleneated or glycerinated saturated alcohol and (II) at least one hydroxyl-containing solvent with molecular mass below 250 Da in the mass ratio (I)/(II) > 1. Invention relates also to composition ready for using for oxidative coloring and to method and set for coloring wherein above indicated composition is used. Invention provides preparing composition for oxidative coloring showing much slower change by color in mixing with oxidizing agent that provides reducing premature oxidation of oxidative dyes. EFFECT: valuable properties of composition. 45 cl, 2 tbl, 1 ex
