SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compositions for oxidative staining keratin fibers, in particular, human keratin fibers, such as hair, comprising in suitable staining medium at least one oxidizing dye, at least, one thickening polymer including at least one saturated chain and at least one saturated mono- or polyglycerol alcohol and to methods and sets used for staining with usage of the indicated composition. Invention provides preparing ready for usage compositions for oxidative staining without draining down being they remain to be localized in the application site and provides to obtain intensive color tones and colors with low selectivity and the high staining strength against chemical agents or natural effects and conferring good cosmetic properties to hair.
