According to other version, roller has main playing surface defined between parallel end lines and parallel side lines, playing slide surface entirely encircling said main playing surface and including first and second end slide surfaces extending substantially in parallel with end lines, and first and second side slide surfaces extending substantially in parallel with said side parallel line. Each of first and second end slide surfaces and each of first and second side slide surfaces rises at a slope from main plating surface. Playing slide surface is further provided with first, second, third and fourth slide transition portions, each arranged between one said slide end surfaces and one of said slide side surfaces and rises at a slope from main playing surface. Each of transition portions is curved through width between one of slide end surfaces and one of slide side surfaces and has raised flat playing surface made in the form of platform, which is arranged above portion of slide end surface and whose height above main playing surface is varying along part of said raised surface. According to another version, roller has main playing surface defined between two parallel end lines and two parallel side lines and including first surface and second surface raised with respect to first surface and extending from one to other side line, playing slide surface entirely encircling main playing surface, and raised playing surface in the form of platform arranged above playing slide surface.
