FIELD: oil production. SUBSTANCE: process relates to extraction of oil from nonuniform oil bed by injection of agents reacting with mineralized water, for example, microorganisms, water soluble polymers of acryl series, cellulose ester, into oil bed. Process involves injection of water fringes of agents into bed. Study for determination of dependence of volume and composition of fringes on mineralization of water is conducted in correspondence with invention prior to injection of agent into bed. Such volume of fringe, its composition and such mineralization of water with which period of gel formation of water fringe of agent is not less than time of running by this fringe in flooded interlayer are determined. In this case water fringes with same mineralization are injected before and after injection of water fringe of agent as well as between them.
