FIELD: applicable for switching of low-current signals. SUBSTANCE: the multi-position switch has a closed duct filled with liquid electrolyte in one part, and in the other - by non-conductive liquid insoluble in electrolyte and non-reacting with it. Breaks of the signal conductors are positioned equidistantly in the part of the duct filled with non-conductive liquid, and drops of mercury are positioned along the duct at a distance one from another between the breaks of the signal conductors used for closing them. In the part of the duct that is filled with electrolyte provision is made for expansions at a distance equal to the distance between the breaks of the signal conductors, and a drop of mercury used as a propeller. An electrode insulated from electrolyte is available under each area of duct expansion. EFFECT: reduced time of switching and power consumption with alternate closing of the signal conductors. 3 dwg
