METHOD OF LIGHTENED START OF VEHICLE WITH SOFT GAS- FILLED WING Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

Abstract RU 2223890 C2

FIELD: super-light aviation. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes charging gas compartments with atmospheric air before start by means of turbo-supercharger combined with para-motor, shortening lines of canopy and directing air jet from para-motor to wing. Wing has V-shaped form and definite stiffness. Such wing is smoothly washed by air jet of para-motor and is held in center of flow. Control of para-motor air flow is effected by inclination of body. When pilot moves forward, wing resting against incoming flow is brought out of para-motor jet and raised, after which lines are released. As a result, canopy is straightened taking arc-shaped form due to internal pressure in gas charged compartments and incoming flow. EFFECT: enhanced selfcontainment of vehicle; reduced expenses for manufacture and operation. 5 dwg
