SUBSTANCE: invention relates to novel method for preparing compounds of the formula (I) wherein W represents nitrogen atom or -CR³; R¹ represents halogen atom, haloalkyl but preferably trifluoromethyl, haloalkoxy-group but preferably trifluoromethoxy-group, R⁴S(O)_n- or -SF₅; R² represents hydrogen or halogen atom, for example, chlorine or bromine atom; R³ represents halogen atom, for example, chlorine or bromine atom; R⁴ represents alkyl or haloalkyl; n = 0, 1 or 2. Method involves reaction of acid-additive arylhydrazine salt of the formula (III) wherein R¹, R² and W are given above (A): with compound of the formula (II) wherein R⁵ and R⁶ represent independently alkyl or in common they represent alkylene chain comprising two or three carbon atoms, or (B): with compound of the formula (IV) wherein R⁷ represents alkyl but preferable methyl or ethyl; or method involves oxidation of compound of the formula (V) . Invention relates also to the improved method for preparing compounds of the formula (VI) and compounds of the formula (XI) wherein R¹, R² and W are given above.
