FIELD: relay protection of shunt reactor, transformer, and autotransformer windings. SUBSTANCE: device has one differential current transformer per phase incorporating two primary windings. Each phase is connected in series with one of two parallel circuits of winding under protection. Secondary winding of current transformer is connected to responding relay protection element. Primary windings of current transformer are differentially interconnected multiturn cross-over windings having equal turn number and wound on transformer magnetic core so that their turns are relatively alternating in layer. Current transformer is disposed in each phase beyond induction apparatus and is connected between leads of apparatus winding parallel circuits and ground. Proposed device can be used for low-cost replacement of relay protective gear in operating induction apparatuses. EFFECT: enhanced sensitivity and speed of response. 2 cl, 2 dwg
