FIELD: electronic engineering; electronic units where printed-circuit boards are interconnected through connectors dispensing with backboard. SUBSTANCE: proposed packet-type electronic unit incorporates printed-circuit boards of different design forms and integrated circuits of arbitrary configuration, adapter block made of different-section rolled copper foil conducting electricity, and unified-design contacts and connector shroud. Packet of printed-circuit boards has bonding areas with contact springs in-between placed in insulating case; fastened to each board, for instance by means of adhesive, is insulating adapter block with contact pads whose quantity equals that of contacts in insulating case; contact pads are connected inside block to leads soldered to bonding areas of printed-circuit board; spring contacts are pressed against respective contact pads of adapter blocks of two adjacent boards, contact pads and leads of adapter block being deepened relative to its surface; in addition adapter blocks may differ in height depending on desired distance between boards; contact pads and leads of adapter block are made of rolled copper foil. EFFECT: enlarged functional, capabilities, enhanced reliability and layout capabilities of printed- circuit boards. 3 cl, 1 dwg
