SUBSTANCE: method involves controlling declination from predetermined path and sending command for turning of controllable wheels after switching off of stabilization mechanism; offsetting neutral line of controllable wheels stabilization mechanism by comparing duration of signal of one of signs, said signal being generated by disturbance established at duration of error signal occurring at random disturbances; for automatic driving of mobile farm unit transverse to slope, signal corresponding to value of deflection of pendulum of one of comparison members is delivered from pendulum to conversion element input, where pendulum angular deflection signal is converted into linear movement of probe downward by value proportional to cross slope angle for moving farm unit upward over slope. Method allows displacement of farm unit down the slope to be avoided. EFFECT: increased efficiency and simplified method. 1 dwg
