MEDICINAL AGENT FOR TREATMENT OF PANCREATITIS AND DIABETES MELLITUS Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: medicine, endocrinology, phytotherapy. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the development of medicinal agents of vegetable origin. Invention proposes an agent for treatment of diabetes mellitus and pancreatitis based on vegetable raw comprising concentrated extract of mixture consisting of Amur cork tree fruits, yellowish pagoda-tree roots and large burdock roots taken in the ratio = (50-500):(50-500):(50-500), respectively. The proposed composition enhances effectiveness of treatment of diabetes mellitus due to the expressed permanent hemoglycaemic effect of carried out therapy: it allows reducing dosing and amount of conventional medicinal agents being up to their complete abolition both in treatment of pancreatitis and diabetes mellitus.
