FIELD: transport engineering; railway transport. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to vibration protection systems of rail cars and it can be used to improved dynamic qualities of specialized freight cars. Proposed spring suspension consists of main resilient member 1 and additional resilient member consists of two springs installed between brackets of axle-box and side beam of bogie frame, and additional member consists of two torsion bars 4 and vertical rod 8 furnished with two vertically spaced stops. Distance between horizontal axes of symmetry of stops is equal to static deflection under weight of load. Both stops consist of compensating plate 5 and friction plate 7 connected to each other. Torsion bars installed on side beam of bogie frame are twisted through maximum angle and they interact through rollers 2 and friction sliders 6 with profiled plates of rod vertically secured on axle-box, and they form optimum load bearing characteristic of rail car vibration protection system. EFFECT: improved efficiency of protection against dynamic vibration when negotiating track irregularities, both being loaded or empty, improved manufacturability of structure. 2 cl, 4 dwg
