FIELD: controlling the state of well development. SUBSTANCE: method includes consecutive measuring of amount of fluid passed through the measuring device during minimal fixed required duration of single measuring cycle for each well, said duration being predetermined for each well. Then average productiveness and productiveness per 24 hours are determined. Average productiveness is determined on basis of optimal number of measuring cycles N= 10. For any expected well output values per 24 hours uniform total measuring time is set, Tm= 2.4 hours. Minimal required duration of single measuring cycle for each well meets condition t≥2.5 min. EFFECT: trustworthy control of product selection by group of wells when measuring time for each well is minimal. 2 cl, 1 ex
