FIELD: oil producing industry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to modular pumping units for use in slant directional and purposely deviated wells. Proposed submersible centrifugal pumping unit of module design contains submersible electric motor with hydraulic protection, cable line, inlet module, pumping sections and module-head. Shafts of modules are spline connected. Design peculiarity is that modules are interconnected by taper thread, and neck of each module is made in form of polygon on which protector is installed made with similar polygonal hole and provided with ribs to prevent damage of cable line. Outer surface of protector ribs corresponds to profile of inner diameter of casing string. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 3 dwg
