FIELD: cryogenics. SUBSTANCE: the domestic refrigerator has a freezing and a refrigerating chambers with doors, evaporators installed in each of them, a cooling unit with one compressor, electric control unit. The thermostat of the latter is connected to a lamp located in the refrigerating chamber via a switch engageable with the door of the refrigerating chamber, and in parallel via the switch of the "Freezing" schedule. It is connected to the lamp via a diode. A light-emitting diode installed in parallel with the diode is used as an indicator of the "Freezing" schedule. EFFECT: reduced time of unfounded operation of the compressor, prevented overheat in the refrigerating chamber and subcooling in the freezing chamber due to operation of the lamp as a heat source by 50% of its rated power. 2 dwg
