FIELD: process of spray drying, applicable in various branches of industry, for example, in pharmaceutics, chemical and food industries. SUBSTANCE: the method consists in spraying of liquid in a drying chamber with formation of drops, supply of the primary flow of drying gas from the top to the upper section of the chamber for partial drying of the drops, supply of the secondary flow of drying and liquefying gas from bottom to the bottom section of this chamber through a perforated plate for maintaining the pseudoliquefied layer of particles on the mentioned plate. The flow of the used drying gas consisting of the first and second gas flows is discharged from the drying chamber through a filter catching the particles, thus retaining the particles on the filter surface. The retained particles are separated from the filter for provision of their contiguity to the other particles in the chamber for granulation and transfer to the pseudoliquefied layer, transmitted through an external pipe-line facility to a separately positioned device of additional treatment for fulfillment at least of one additional treatment, selected from the series of operations of dust collection, granulation, application of coating and separation and providing a contact with gas in the mentioned device. The flow of dust-laden gas is discharged from the device of additional treatment through the second pipe-line facility to the drying chamber in the place positioned at the same level with the dust-collecting filter in it. The flow of dust-laden gas together with the used drying gas is passed through the filter and discharged from the drying chamber. The device for realization of the above method is also described.
