FIELD: military equipment, in particular, high-explosive shells used in firing from artillery guns. SUBSTANCE: the shell has a body filled with explosive with driving bands and a fuse. The body is made of two separate parts: ogival and cylindrical ones joined by a threaded connection so that the center of mass is positioned in the body connection. The cylindrical part is fully filled with explosive, and made in the explosive of the ogival part is the central cylindrical duct with an expanded cavity that accommodates a translator and a detonator so that the lower end of the translator would be positioned in the center of the detonator, and the upper end of the translator is installed with an access hole relative to the fuse detonator providing for supply of the detonating pulse to the translator, and a protective washer is installed in the narrow end of the ogival part before the fuse detonator. EFFECT: enhanced power of the shell, in particular, enhanced hitting area of personnel. 1 dwg
