STAND FOR DEMOUNTING AND MOUNTING OF TIRES Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: automotive industry; maintenance facilities. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automobiles, namely, to stands for demounting and mounting of tires (disassembling and assembling of wheels) of quarry heavy duty dump trucks, capacity from 30 to 200 tons. Proposed stand contains housing accommodating extension mechanism made in form of cylinder with two pistons and rods, oil station, adapter plate, control panel, pressure plate installed on inner rod which, in its turn, is connected with lower piston, support plate with stops to press out detachable seat ring installed on hollow rod connected, in its turn, with upper piston. Middle hole in stand cylinder designed to supply liquid is made at a distance from upper hole providing required travel of upper piston. Cylinder is controlled by three hydraulic distributors, thanks to which cylinder can play the part of three cylinders. EFFECT: enlarged capacity at demounting of tires. 7 dwg
