FIELD: vehicles.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automotive industry, in particular, is intended for dismantling and mounting tires of large-size wheels. Tire changer includes base, support and pressure hydraulic cylinders. Four support hydraulic cylinders are attached to the bottom of the bench base, with a support plate installed on them for thrusting against the base of the wheel rim. In the middle between support hydraulic cylinders there is a pressure hydraulic cylinder of larger diameter. In the middle of the support plate there is a hole for passage of a rod of a pressure hydraulic cylinder, on which a pressure plate with six movable sliders is installed. Tire fitting method consists in using this stand.
EFFECT: easier tire fitting of large-size wheels.
