FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pressure regulator designed for reducing liquid pressure in rear brake circuit of automobile to preclude advance interlocking of rear wheels relative to front wheels. Proposed regulator contains housing 1 with channels for pipes of brake system hydraulic drive, sleeve 2 installed inside housing, piston 4 installed for moving inside sleeve, spring washer 6 holding sleeve in housing space, bushing 7 by means of which housing is attached to bracket, cup, 16, spacer bushing 17, sealing rings 3, 5, 11, 18 and boot 19. Through space is made in upper end of piston 4 in which ball valve 8 is installed pressed by spring 9 to seat of valve 10. Valve control rod 12 projecting beyond the limits of end face surface of piston thrust against surface forming valve seat hole. Rod 12 has the form of thin-walled cylinder, open ring in section. Support clamp 13, being support element both for pressure spring 14 and return spring 15, is installed in middle part of piston. Springs 14, 15 act onto clamp from opposite sides being arranged between two support surfaces. Regulator is furnished with cutoff valve 20 to provide effective operation of brake system in case of failure of one of circuits. EFFECT: simplified design of regulator, improved reliability and enlarged operating capabilities. 2 cl, 3 dwg
