FIELD: metallurgy; blast furnace processes; lining areas near tap holes and other components of furnace. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes mixing refractory components for obtaining refractory concrete, placing forms in area of damaged lining, filling the forms with concrete and holding it for 10-24 h at simultaneous heating of concrete mix to 150-180 C followed by removing the forms and calcination to 800-1000 C for obtaining strong adhesion of particles of concrete mix between each other and to wall of brick-work; holding time is equal to 10-12 h. Used as refractory concrete is mixture of alumo-carbide silicon composition at moisture content of 5- 6%. EFFECT: enhanced resistance of lining. 3 cl, 2 ex
