SUBSTANCE: method depends on manufacture of real specimen of original model, generation of its image on display screen, generation of matrix of source model illumination, and superposition of network pattern on image including deformation of network cells at points of expected visual change in fabric pattern; prior to superposing network pattern onto source model image the latter is presented in the form of set of enclosed adjacent figures whose boundaries are lines of minimal illumination of image; diameter of each of these figures is measured and diameter of network cells is determined.
