FIELD: veterinary science, medicine. SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with obtaining calcium-containing preparations. The method to obtain the preparation deals with the fact that the second mother liquor of calcium gluconate production 15-25 weight%, after separating acetone at room temperature should be additionally supplemented with vitamin D₃ as hydrovit and conservant as sorbic acid. The mixture obtained should be heated up to 40 C, kept at the same temperature for 30 min. As a result, preparation is obtained at the following ratio of ingredients, weight%: vitamin D₃ as hydrovit 40000 IU/g 0.01-0.03, conservant as sorbic acid 0.05-0.15, the second mother liquor at microbial production of calcium gluconate 15-25 weight% after separating acetone the rest. Calcium-containing preparation and method for its obtaining provide high degree of digestibility, balancing by preparation's composition, reasonable price to perform prophylactic measures.
