FIELD: virology; veterinary science.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to veterinary immunology and virology, in particular to methods of poultry immunization in conditions of industrial poultry farming. Method involves feeding poultry with a liquid organic agent diluted with water, as well as aerosol treatment of poultry livestock with the same liquid organic agent. Liquid organic agent used is a fodder additive consisting of coniferous extract, succinic acid, polyethylene glycol-9 and water. If during general inspection of poultry stock, 2–4% of weakened birds showing signs of intestinal infections are detected, then the whole poultry stock is fed with a feed additive in dose of 0.1–0.2 ml/l of water in morning for 4 hours for 3 days. In case of residual manifestation of signs of intestinal infections feed additive is continued until complete disappearance of these signs. If observing 2–4% of weakened birds showing signs of respiratory infections, poultry stock is sprayed with a fodder additive in dose of 0.5–1.0 l/1,000 m3 for 20–25 minutes for 3 days. In case of residual manifestation of these signs, treatment is repeated until their complete disappearance.
EFFECT: invention usage will allow to increase immunity, safety and productivity of poultry.
