FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves carrying out electronic marking of monitor screen and placing marks on skin surface corresponding to tumor formation and organ boundaries when moving ultrasonic transducer set in perpendicular to patient body along the skin surface. Mark is set on the ultrasonic transducer along its symmetry axis and the central ultrasonic beam. Patient being in horizontal position, the mark is brought into coincidence with vertical ultrasonic topometry nozzle arm symmetry axis. Patient position being vertical, the mark is brought into coincidence with upper edges of horizontal nozzle arms, setting the transducer in exactly horizontal position. The nozzle is manufactured as T- shaped thin metal sheet and is attached in perpendicular to transducer handle surface on its symmetry axis. EFFECT: high accuracy of measurements in standing and lying position. 3 dwg
