FIELD: mechanical engineering; engines. SUBSTANCE: two-stroke internal combustion diesel engine has crankcase, crankshaft, cylinder with crankshaft by crosshead mechanism, intake ports in cylinder communicating with compressor, cylinder outlet ports, nozzles installed in cylinder cover, one of which is connected with fuel injection pump and the other, with high-pressure water pump. Engine is furnished additionally with temperature sensitive element in cylinder cover, plunger selector switch with electromagnets connected by pipelines with corresponding pumps and reservoirs for fuel and water, electronic control unit connected by electric wire with temperature sensitive element and electromagnetic, cover separating spaces of cylinder and crankcase, channel connecting additionally port in lower part of cylinder with intake ports. EFFECT: provision of complete combustion of fuel, increased efficiency of engine at reduction of toxicity of exhaust gases and reduced power takeoff from crankshaft to cooling system. 2 cl, 5 dwg
