FIELD: radio engineering. SUBSTANCE: converter designed for use in electromagnetic field inductors for tuning transmitting equipment and detecting radiation of low-power microwave radio transmitting devices has operational amplifier 3, negative feedback circuit 4, and two Schottky-barrier diodes 1, 2. Anode of first diode is connected to inverting input of operational amplifier 3 whose noninverting input is connected through resistor to ground bus, this bus being also connected to cathode of second diode; output of operational amplifier is connected through negative feedback circuit 4 to its inverting input; point of connection of first-diode cathode and second-diode anode functions as input of proposed device; output of operational amplifier 3 is connected to device output. Current-to-voltage converter operates as follows. Applying high-frequency signal to device input induces current through diodes 1 and 2, its value being a function of voltage across output of operational amplifier 3. Current flowing through diodes depends on input voltage amplitude. Resistance of negative feedback circuit 4 governs circuit gain. EFFECT: enlarged functional capabilities. 1 cl, 1 dwg
