FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves additionally carrying out pulseoxymetric monitoring before administering fibrobronchoscopy. Initial arterial blood saturation with oxygen is measured. The value being below 90- 93%, oxygen inhalation is transnasally administered at a rate of 4-12 l/min during 15-40 min before carrying out fibrobronchoscopic examination to achieve arterial blood saturation with oxygen of not lower than 90-93%. β2-agonist agents are supplied to inhale together with oxygen and then, fibrobronchoscopic examination is carried out under constant rate transnasal oxygen supply conditions and pulse-oxymetric control. Arterial blood saturation with oxygen falling below 80% during fibrobronchoscopic examination, endobronchial oxygen supply is additionally administered via fibrobronchoscope canal.
